My name is Jess Johnson and I am a Technical Artist. I graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design in 2022 with a BFA in Visual Effects and a minor in Technical Direction. I continued on to work at MARZ as a Lighting Technical Artist where I worked on projects such as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, The Creator, Goosebumps, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and more.

 

I am proficient in Python, tool building, optimization, and lighting/rendering. I've worked across many different software and excel at finding and learning new information no matter the platform. As a Technical Artist, I strive to fully optimize the artist experience and combine my technical and artistic knowledge to achieve this.
