For this weekend, I tasked myself with learning Cinematics and Sequencer within Unreal and animating a camera in a test scene that Nia built last class. After watching through some tutorials, I think I have the basics down for how to use Sequencer and also some notes on the hot keys within Unreal. Here is what my scene currently looks like and the test movie file I rendered out. Note: This is not the final camera move, I was just playing around to get a feel of things. I saw a few different ways on how to do this but I think the setup I currently have with using different shots in a Master Sequence, animating the CineCameraActor over a regular Camera, and creating a cinematic to be rendered out is going to be the best method.

Also for this weekend, I made all my roommates watch Tarzan with me so I could study the cinematography and the "pan and zoom". I went to try and pull some stills but to no surprise, Disney Plus won't let you take screen captures with their video player open so I went and collected these from another website (https://animationscreencaps.com/tarzan-1999/) based off of the time stamps I noted while I was watching. I didn't have time to draw any storyboards this weekend so today in class and for next class, I'm going to continue playing around with the camera animation / rendering and draw up some potential storyboards.
