Week 4 / Class 7

I just continued texturing for this class. I plan to finish my textures this weekend and be ready to start preliminary lighting next class. My lantern texture will have writing on it but I'm still researching what kanji is typically written on Japanese lanterns and what it means so that it is culturally accurate.

I've been getting my textures from ambientcg.com and then bringing them into Substance Painter (or Photoshop then to Substance Painter) with my model to manipulate further. It's been working out well so far now that I've refamiliarized myself with Substance.
