For today's class, I was responsible for updating our previs to have the car floating instead of driving. It was a suggestion we had gotten from the mentors on Tuesday as an idea to try and help emphasize our ghostly theme.

While this is still only a rough animation, I was very inspired by the flying car from Harry Potter and used that as my reference for the cars movement. As back up if our floating idea doesn't get across, Deanna was able to find us a rigger who could rig the car for us so we could recreate the car going over cobblestone if needed. I really like the car floating and think it opens the door for more FX that could be put in, especially since we had to get rid of our pyro because we were not able to get the original model that we had pitched.

Other feedback we had gotten from the mentors mentioned whether the environment was going to be modern or if we were going to try and make it historical. We've decided that we wanted to make it clear that this was modern Savannah that our ghost ride is taking a joy ride through and we're going to make that apparent in our B-roll footage to better establish the environment. We are going out to film today!
